✓ ONC Health IT Certification Program — 2015 Edition Cures Update
Certified Capabilities
Optimantra has been certified by a Leidos ONC-Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) under the
ONC Health IT Certification Program. Certification is for ambulatory care settings only.
Certified capabilities include:
- Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE) — medications, laboratory, and diagnostic imaging
- Clinical demographics, family health history, and implantable device list management
- Transitions of care and electronic health information (EHI) export
- Decision support interventions
- Privacy and security controls (authentication, audit, encryption, MFA, and more)
- Transmission to immunization registries
- Safety-enhanced design, quality management system, and accessibility-centered design
- Consolidated CDA creation

Additional Software Required (Relied Upon Software)
The following third-party software is used in conjunction with Optimantra's certified capabilities.
This software may require separate agreements, accounts, or fees independent of Optimantra.

Note: Operating systems and standard infrastructure components (e.g., NTP) are not listed per ONC guidance.
Costs and Limitations
Costs:
- Optimantra's ONC-certified capabilities are included as part of the standard subscription. No additional fees are charged solely to access certified functionality.
- Electronic prescribing via MDToolbox may require a separate MDToolbox subscription and associated fees. Contact Optimantra for bundling options.
- Immunization registry transmission may require a connection agreement with the applicable state registry. Setup assistance is provided at no additional charge.
Limitations:
- Optimantra is certified for ambulatory care settings only. Inpatient workflows are not supported under this certification.
- Electronic prescribing (§170.315(b)(3)), if available, is provided through integration with MDToolbox and is not certified under the Optimantra Developer UID.
- Direct secure messaging (§170.315(h)(1)), if available via integration, is not certified under the Optimantra Developer UID.
- Standardized FHIR API functionality (§170.315(g)(7), (g)(9), (g)(10)) is not certified under this product.
- Clinical Quality Measure (CQM) calculation and reporting (§170.315(c)(1)) is not performed under this certification. Providers requiring CQM reporting should use an external registry or reporting solution.
- Immunization registry transmission is currently supported for Vermont and Connecticut only.
Interoperability
Optimantra supports the exchange of clinical data using industry-standard formats including
HL7 C-CDA (Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture) for transitions of care.
