Costs and Limitations

Costs:

  • Optimantra's ONC-certified capabilities are included as part of the standard subscription. No additional fees are charged solely to access certified functionality.
  • Electronic prescribing via MDToolbox may require a separate MDToolbox subscription and associated fees. Contact Optimantra for bundling options.
  • Immunization registry transmission may require a connection agreement with the applicable state registry. Setup assistance is provided at no additional charge.

Limitations:

  • Optimantra is certified for ambulatory care settings only. Inpatient workflows are not supported under this certification.
  • Electronic prescribing (§170.315(b)(3)), if available, is provided through integration with MDToolbox and is not certified under the Optimantra Developer UID.
  • Direct secure messaging (§170.315(h)(1)), if available via integration, is not certified under the Optimantra Developer UID.
  • Standardized FHIR API functionality (§170.315(g)(7), (g)(9), (g)(10)) is not certified under this product.
  • Clinical Quality Measure (CQM) calculation and reporting (§170.315(c)(1)) is not performed under this certification. Providers requiring CQM reporting should use an external registry or reporting solution.
  • Immunization registry transmission is currently supported for Vermont and Connecticut only.
